Dine in a Historic SettingKaua‘i

Situated at the historic Kilohana Plantation, GAYLORD’S RESTAURANT & LOUNGE fills its menu with as many Kaua‘i homegrown ingredients as possible. Its old sugar plantation location is surrounded by 100 acres of fruit orchards, which include fields of pineapple, banana, mango and gardens of island greens.

The bountiful delicacies of KILOHANA make for an ideal fresh and tasty meal; even its cocktails are created with fresh fruits and ingredients from the farm. Chef Megan Handke also collaborates with local farmers to ensure many island-grown items are included in her menu offerings.

Following a recent renovation, Gaylord’s opened the MAHIKO LOUNGE. (Mahiko means “sugar plantation” in Hawaiian.) From a seat in the lounge, located within the beautiful living room of the home, one can enjoy cocktails, pupu (appetizers) and even order off the menu.

The house specialty drink is the Gaylord’s Koloa Rum Mai Tai. For a special treat, call and inquire about Gaylord’s Rum and Dining Experience, or ask about the Plantation Owner’s Evening and Lu‘au.

If you’re looking to dine in a romantic courtyard setting, one full of history and wonderful ambiance, a reservation at Gaylord’s Restaurant for lunch, dinner or Sunday brunch will not disappoint.

Be sure not to miss the live entertainment, too!
