It’s a feel-good experience at Dillingham Airfi eld in Mokulē‘ia on O‘ahu’s North Shore, where PARADISE AIR off ers “fl ight plans” that range from 30 to 60 minutes on engine- powered gliders, or trikes. These fl ights are hands-on, and are actual fl ying lessons. Pilots will show guests the basics of trike fl ying while taking in the sights of the North Shore. Not sure if you’re ready to “take the wheel,” so to speak? There’s no pressure, but most people will choose to take the controls at least for part of their fl ight, and you can bring home some bragging rights with photo and/ or video services available for each fl ight plan.
